Guide to Chapeau! Jerseys
With Spring in full effect and a Summer of promise ahead we can look forward to longer days and shorter sleeves. It’s the time of year when we can enjoy going longer or riding more often, when we cultivate the tan lines and show off our favourite jerseys. It’s easier to take the snaps for instagram when you can reach around for your phone without peeling back layers of waterproof clothing first.
With that in mind, we want to take some time to introduce our guide to Chapeau! jersey ranges. In both the men’s and women’s ranges we have three core jersey types, each with their own technical and fit characteristics. For men we have Etape, Club and Tempo and for women Madeleine, Club and Soulor.
MENS
THE ETAPE offers a race fit. Designed for performance and comfort on the bike. The Etape comes in Black & Blue.

THE CLUB with its raglan sleeves and outstanding aerodynamic fit, the all new lightweight Club jersey is tailored for the contemporary cyclist.
The Club jersey features bold detail and contrasting sleeve cuffs. Inspired by classic jerseys and presented in modern moisture wicking, breathable fabric that performs when you do. Slim fitting sleeves offer improved aerodynamics and fit for optimum comfort. The Club jersey is available in three styles — STRIPE A classic chest stripe design in seven different colourways. LOGO Pared down and simple, the logo jersey is always a classy option. THE TEMPO is cut for performance but won’t cling like the wrapper on your flapjacks. Available in pattern, chest stripe and plain colours.

The Tempo jersey is available in two styles — BLOCK In three colourways, these jerseys are a true homage to Josef Albers that will set you aside on the road. HOOP A classic chest hoop design available in three colourways.
GREAT EXPECTATIONS OF FIT
When choosing your preferred jersey style and sizing, it’s important to be fully armed with the correct information. Choosing the correct fit for your cycling clothes is, of course, subjective. You may feel more comfortable in a looser fitting jersey, your arms may be like pipe cleaners and look better in a super tight fit. There is a nuanced difference between size and body type and we don’t all fit neatly into perfect sizes, we come in all shapes and sizes.
This isn’t supposed to be a complicated procedure, and we would hate for it to be so. Which is why we’ve taken the time to photograph our kit on a model in both the men’s and women’s range. For each product you can click on the size guide for full, flat measurements of every size and also see a real live person wearing the kit.
