We're all used to some cycling clothing having an 'Italian' cut and hence an XL jersey might be suitable for a UK medium. These are definitely an Italian cut. Sprinters beware, the legs are cut for folks with beanpoles and not muscled thighs like mine. The XL size is suitable for someone who would normally wear a 33"-34" pair of jeans. I'm a 36" waisted fella and could just about get them over my thighs, but the waist was around 2" too small. Quality appears very nice, lovely detailing on the button fly, but sadly that's no good if they are way too small. Had to return them. I'd buy if they were sized like normal UK clothing.
