• Delivery
    • Where is my order?

      If you have used our FREE standard delivery method we expect 95% of orders to be delivered within 4 working days. However it is unfortunately inevitable from time to time that orders go astray and take longer to arrive. We ask that you wait up to 2 weeks before contacting us by emailing info@chapeau.cc to report a late delivery as only after this time has passed from date of order, will we class the delivery as lost and re-send your order.

      If your order is being sent by next day delivery we can track it immediately and give you an answer, just drop us an email at info@chapeau.cc for an update if you do not receive your order on the day expected. We are working on automating a system where tracking info is sent straight to you as soon as the order is dispatched – please bear with us on this!

    • When will I get my international delivery?

      Delivery times can vary depending on where you live so please allow 2 – 3 weeks for delivery. If you are concerned about your delivery getting to you, then we’d recommend choosing the International Signed Delivery option in the checkout.

    • Can I track my order using the website?

      We don’t currently have the option to track where your order is in the delivery process through our website. If you have any questions about your order then please email info@chapeau.cc and we will give you any information we can.

  • Returns
    • The garment wasn’t what I expected can I return it?

      If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason then you can feel safe in the knowledge that we operate a no fuss approach to returns. If you’re not completely satisfied then we will take it back and offer you a refund, exchange or credit note. You have 14 days to return your item once you have received it and UK returns are free. Please visit our returns page for more information.

    • There is a fault with my garment, what should I do?

      On the odd occasion, items can become damaged during the manufacturing process or whilst in transit. Whilst we do everything we can to make sure your item arrives in excellent condition, there are rare instances where things slip through the net. If this happens then please contact us to arrange an exchange or refund.

      We strongly recommend that you follow the washing and care guidance on the garments and the product pages of the website to ensure that you take proper care of your garment. This can be particularly important with the merino wool products that are more delicate in nature – they will last a long time if care instructions are adhered to but repeated hot washing for example can damage the fibres over time. If you do find a problem then please email info@chapeau.cc and we will see what we can do.

    • My garment doesn’t fit me correctly; can I exchange it for a different size?

      Of course, we will happily exchange an item for a different size, provided we have one in stock. If we don’t then we will offer you a similar product from is available or you can have a full refund. We’d ask that you check that the item fits before removing any tags or using it. If you need to return an item, then please refer to our returns page for more information.

  • Orders
    • Can I place an order over the phone?

      If you don’t feel comfortable using our website or are experiencing problems placing an order, then we will gladly take an order over the phone. Please call 01363 85617 where our team will take your order and payment over the phone.

    • I’ve got a discount code, how do I claim it?

      If you have a discount code for the website, then add the items you would like to buy to your basket. Then click on the Shopping Cart in the top right corner and select View Cart. When you are taken to your shopping cart you will find a box with the heading Discount Codes. Enter your discount code here and click on Apply Coupon and your shopping cart will update the price. Then proceed to checkout. Please note that you can’t apply coupons on the checkout page.

  • Clothing
    • Where can I try on your clothing?

      We have a growing number of retailers that stock our clothing where you will be able to try on any items you like. You can find your local Chapeau! retailer by using our Store Finder http://www.chapeau.cc/retail-partners - make sure you select “Chapeau! Clothing Stockists” in the list drop down.

      We also make regular appearances at different cycling exhibitions and events where you’ll be able to try on clothing and make purchases. You can keep an eye out for these events by following us on Facebook and signing up for our mailing list.

    • What’s the difference between the red and green pads?

      We’ve taken a slightly different take on our bib shorts by offering pads to suit your style of riding in order to provide optimum performance and comfort. The Red Carbonium pad is designed for those who favour a more aggressive racing position when riding as the pad is thickest where your sit bones will be when leaning forward. In comparison, the Green Carbonium pad is more suitable for those that have a more upright riding position.

      You can increase your chances of success by offering a detailed and well thought through plan of what you can offer us in terms of product and brand exposure to other cyclists and proof of achievements to date.

    • I work for a charity; will you sponsor our event / riders?

      If you are holding a cycling related event for charity and our looking for sponsors then please send us details of the event and your requirements. We will then have a look at the opportunity and see if we can help out. Again, please understand that we get a lot of requests like this and we can’t say yes to all.
